NAMI, or, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, at UC Davis is hosting the 2nd annual mental health fair! There, participants will be able to learn about positive self-care and the accessible mental health resources. As May is mental health month, groups are reaching out to millions of people through social media, local events and screenings to raise awareness for mental health. Not everyone has a mental illness, but everyone has mental health. Through uniting as a community to learn about mental health and accepting the reality that it matters for each one of us, we can help each other grow and be our true selves. That's why this year's theme is Be You-nique.
Let's join together to celebrate positive self-care and cultivate a supportive, diverse and accepting culture for all. Together, we can show the campus community how important mental health is for everyone. As VN CARES, we will have a table and will be presenting a trifold board.
